The temperature here plummeted to 51 degrees at 7:30 this morning. Everybody is talking about it, how cold it is. I know, I know ... y'all who live in the north have it much, much worse, but you're used to it, aintcha?

Of course, we watched the Patriots romp yesterday. Sharon came, Janet made Dr. Weil's penne pasta with broccoli and garlic/olive oil. We shared a bottle of Pinot Grigio and enjoyed the game very much. It was definitely not a nail biter. You could feel it happening almost from the beginning of the game. All of this following a busy Sunday day.

The computer user's group meeting didn'thappen, because of the rain. We'll try again in two weeks. Sharon came and she, Janet, and I held our weekly bible study on the porch of the Coffee Plantation under cloudy skies. Afterwards, the two of them went off shopping. I went back to the apartment and watched the Eagles whip the Falcons to set up Super Bowl XXXIX. (When are they going to give up those silly Roman Numerals. In MMLIV, it will be Super Bowl LXXXVIII. Why, that'll hardly fit on a Patriots souvenir cap.

Now it's Monday again. Despite the chill in the air -- actually, if you stand in the sun and out of the wind, it isn't too bad -- there are tourists about, most of them dressed for the weather. Must be a cruise ship in.

Now it's on to more important things.
