There goes the neighborhood (parking)

The city begins tearing down the parking garage on Simonton St. on Wednesday. The no parking signs are already up on the streets surrounding City Hall. For the next two months and ten days, dozens of spaces in mid-town will be unavailable to residents and tourists. The few spaces on Angela St. are to be reserved for the City manager, his assistant, and the City Clerk. (RHIP). Other spaces on Simonton St. will be reserved for City vehicles.

We almost never go anywhere in old town by car. Now we certainly won't. Bicycles for everyone!
