Don McLean in Maine in June

Speaking of Don McLean, as I was a few posts back, he is the headliner at the Flye Point Music and Arts Festival in Brooklin, ME on June 25.

Our friends Jeff and Jennifer, who used to live here, are the organizers and promoters of this nice and easy concert and festival on the rocky coast of Maine. This is the second year they've run it. It may well be that the concert is sold out by now, but you can find out more by going to the web site.

In addition to McLean, the line up includes Ritchie Havens, Jonathan Edwards, the Mammals, and Sarah Lee Guthrie (she's Arlo's daughter and Woody's granddaughter) and Johnny Irion.

Jeff's a talented organizer and promoter. I for one would like to see him do his magic here in January or February. How about it Jeff, can you bring this show or one like it to KW?
