Housing crisis needs action, not more talk

Here is a pretty good editorial from the Key West Citizen on the topic of housing. Here's the money quote:

The time is long past for talking about the problem or calling for more studies or more well intentioned committees; rhetoric and good intentions won't correct the crisis we face as a community, the threat most vividly demonstrated by an increase of expensive seasonal vacation homes that are displacing the housing stock available to middle class working families. But he is also quick to say that seasonal or retirement homes for those who can afford them are not the fundamental problem and not necessarily a burden to the economy, only a symptom.
