Moving on OUT to the East Side

Ernesto is gone from here now. The TS made landfall between 6 and 8 PM about 150 miles northeast here as a low-intensity tropical storm. The closest it came to our little island was 100 miles to the east. We had some rain, almost no wind. The forecast for the rest of the week is partly cloudy, hot, and chance of showers. I imagine that we'll invite tourists to return beginning tomorrow.

WomenFest, a lesbian-oriented festival of art shows, sailing and snorkeling, comedy performances and other activities, begins on Tuesday and runs until the end of the week.

Otherwise, the rest of September will be pretty quiet. Unless we have more storms.
