The Key West Citizen and the Florida Keys Keynoter both provide coverage of the affordable/homeless housing project recently completed on Julia Street. The Bahama Conch Community Land Trust (BCCLT) renovated two properties located on a single lot on Julia Street to provide affordable housing for homeless and about-to-be-homeless individuals and families. The project was financed by a grant from the Florida State Department of Children and Families, coordinated by the Southernmost Homeless Assistance League.
