Truman Waterfront - TAMPOA Takes a Stand

As I wrote yesterday, the residents of Bahama Village and TAMPOA aren't really that far apart in terms of what we both want, that is "a park and not a parking lot."

Here's part of what the TAMPOA Board of Directors has to say in a guest editorial in today's Key West Citizen

We wish to work in cooperation with Bahama Village and the city for a just and workable solution to this issue. We think this area should be a park, not a parking lot. We believe that a cooperative effort must be made to maintain the integrity of our private property while dramatically suppressing the flow of cars to the waterfront.
