Who's the City Manager?

The Key West City IT department has yet to remove the web pages that identify former City Manager Julio Avael as the incumbent in that role. Avael stepped down from the position two weeks ago. Not that it matters for much, but it seems the right thing, the appropriate thing for the site managers to do.

Assistant City Manager John Jones is acting CM until Jim Scholl -- who is the legal office holder -- returns from vacation to assume the position-in-fact on or about July 2nd.

Whether Avael gets to retain his Point-to-Point cable television show remains to be seen. He apparently thinks its his, not the city's. He might be right.

Who in their right mind would want to inherit a crap television show on a channel no one watches put on by a corrupt, now former city manager?

Use OpenDNS
