Maybe the Key West Water Park's decor and atmosphere will reflect the appeal of historic Waterbury, CT
There are two Key Wests. They occupy the same island but are worlds apart. The sham Key West is a show for tourists; the Real Key West belongs to those of us who live here. Come with us now ... to the Real Key West.

Interesting link. I had no idea how these things had proliferated around the country--there must be 8 or 9 of them now.
They seem to be all indoors, and take up 1-2 acres of space. Another website for them is www.webergroup.com/CoCoKey_noads.pdf .
A couple of weeks ago we checked out the waterpark at Atlantis Resort, (Paradise Island) in Nassau. Impressive! (But of course supported by the hotels & casino connected with it.) Oh, to be young again--with affluent and wealthy parents!
On second thought, a quiet kayak trip along the mangroves suits me just fine....

I have been to Key West many times and I have been to Waterbury many times. Nary will the two ever intersect in my mind. This CoCo Key is almost obscene.
